Agilian Core Values: Social Equity

Our first Agilian Core Value we’ll be talking about is Social Equity.

We create environments of inclusion, belonging, and accessibility where new and different perspectives are valued, and opportunities are open to all with a focus on change and growth. 

Promoting Workplace and Project Social Equity is demonstrated by:

  • Prioritizing social equity across staff, hiring practices, clients, and communities. 

  • Implementing diversity-focused hiring strategies and equal advancement opportunities. 

  • Offering regular educational sessions on intersectional antiracism, unconscious bias, and cultural sensitivity. 

  • Cultivating a supportive culture of respect and inclusion.

  • Promoting inclusive language and creating an environment where all feel valued. 

  • Empowering marginalized voices and seeking diverse perspectives. 

  • Advocating for ethical and inclusive behavior.

  • Engaging in ongoing education, challenging inequities as we discover them, and supporting colleagues who have experienced marginalization.
