STATE CONVENTION AND SPORTS AUTHORITY ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) MODERNIZATION

The State Convention and Sports Authority is the official convention and sports authority for the state, and is tasked with increasing economic development through the promotion of key sports, entertainment offerings, national and international conventions, meetings, and special events for the state. The State Convention and Sports Authority found it difficult to manage business processes and retain and attract new talent with its outdated technology. This was the impetus for their decision to modernize.

The State Convention and Sports Authority underwent a replacement of their ERP system, including Financials, eProcurement, and Human Capital Management (HCM). Agilian helped The State Convention and Sports Authority implement the HCM solution, including Absences and Benefits, fast formulas, and interfaces with payroll implementation. Agilian also installed, configured, and tested standard functionality utilizing Business Flows, Functions, and Applications. The State Convention and Sports Authority went live with their modernized ERP system in July of 2022.

Result: With their new ERP solution in place, The State Convention and Sports Authority is able to reduce manual and duplicate efforts, enhance productivity and efficiency, and improve staff and customer satisfaction.
