As part of our Digital Liberation process, Agilian LLC helps Medicaid MCOs and other state and not-for-profit health and human services organizations meet the challenges and opportunities presented by new regulations, new funding opportunities, and a rapidly changing world. One area that is currently seeing new or updated reforms in many states is Prior Authorization. Many of these current efforts, like the[ law recently signed by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser](https://lims.dccouncil.gov/Legislation/B25-0124), have adopted many of the reforms proposed in the [model legislation](https://fixpriorauth.org/sites/default/files/2023-04/Health-Plans_Ensuring-Transparency-in-Prior-Authorization-Act-2022_Model-Bill.pdf) offered by the American Medical Association.
